Challenge #60 ~ Color Inspiration

 Hello, and welcome to another fun challenge here at CC&CC.  I bet you have been wondering why our new challenge did not post last Friday ~ well, my hard drive on my computer died.  Let me tell you, it has been a nightmare!  I will spare you the details, but let me give you some good advice!  If you don't currently backup your computer, START doing it now!  We will be back on schedule with our next challenge on March 21st.  ONWARD!

For this challenge we are using some color for your inspiration.  We had such a great time creating our cards for you with this lovely color palate.  Such beautiful pastel shades with a touch of bold!  These colors seem to work so well with the beautiful digis we used.  They were so generously given to us by

I am SO pleased to welcome back A Day For Daisies for a second year as a sponsor for CC&CC.  Tammy Siemers Thompson, the artist who draws all of the designs is incredibly talented.  For me her work always has such emotional impact. There is such softness and feeling in everything she creates.

 The name "A Day For Daisies" was the name of one of her first paintings she did at the age of nine.  She is a very accomplished freelance artist, and her beautiful style is so recognizable.  I can always tell when one of her images has been used, they are amazing!  Our winner of this challenge will receive a $12 gift certificate to use in the online ADFD store.  VERY NICE!

Challenge #59 ~ Teddy Bears

Well, I guess it's impossible not to notice the changes here at CC&CC!  I had a major meltdown yesterday when I logged in here and our whole page was FOOOBAR!!!  Our whole page was COVERED in squares from Photo Bucket - I think the designer of CC&CC closed shop and emptied out her Photo Bucket acct.which included our background -  I worked on it for hours and FINALLY got rid of the junk left behind.  You are looking at the new results, I hope you like it!

Here is a fun challenge for everyone - soft and cuddly, that's a teddy bear.  I think that at one time or another we have all had one, or two or more!  

Here are some interesting facts about them:

They got their name from our 26th President, Theodore Roosevelt 

They were first made in appx. 1903

They are one of the most popular gifts for children AND adults!

 Policemen and Firemen give them to children during a crisis to calm them

You can even buy them dressed in nearly any outfit you can think of...

Because they are so popular, I can see why we use them in our art projects; we love them!

Challenge #58 ~ One Button, One Bow, One Flower

Time to have fun with the theme of One Button, One Bow, One Flower.  Embellishments can really put the perfect finishing touch on any card project, be it a simple design or a very decorative one.  I think we all like to have fun with embellies, so I thought this would be the perfect chance for you to show us yours.  But remember, only ONE of each!
