Challenge #43 ~ Life's A Beach and NEW DT MEMBER!

Hello and welcome!  

Time for another challenge at CC&CC.  A BIG THANX to all of you who entered our 4th of July challenge, your entries were amazing! 

Also I want to thank those of you who tried for a DT position.  There are some VERY talented card makers our there!  I really enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing all your lovely creations.

Here is an introduction from her:

Hey there!  My name is Cheryl, and I am a stay at home wife in Florida, with 2 grown children and a beautiful one-year-old granddaughter. I love crafting; especially card-making and scrapbooking.  I'm also on a mission to spread awareness of Testicular Cancer;  my son was diagnosed in 2010, but is now 3 years cancer-free!  Please have the men (age 15+) in your life self-exam; it could save their life.

 

We are so HAPPY to have her with us to help give inspiration to all of you who come here to CC&CC to celebrate the joy of card making!  Be sure to visit her blog AND also our other DT members too!

Challenge #42 ~ 4th OF JULY

Can you believe that we are half way through 2013 all ready!  Summer is here and I hope you are having a good one!  Here in the USA we are getting ready to celebrate one of the most important holidays of our country.  Our Independence Day that marks the birth of our great nation ~ lovingly called the 4th of July.  Mainly when we celebrate this day, it is with the colors of red, white and blue, stars and stripes, parades, fireworks, picnics and family fun.  But always stop to remember the long, hard fight of so many that gave so much so we could have the freedom we have today!

Before I tell you about the challenge I want to say a very special good bye to one of our DT.  Deanna is moving on to other projects and this is her last challenge with us.  We sure hate to see her go and will really miss her and her lovely creations.  She has been a great DT member, one I could always count on to help whenever needed.  Take care Deanna, we wish you all the best.  Come back and come visit us often!

I also want to send out a special get well soon wish to our DT member Sue.  She is sitting out this challenge, but should be back soon.  Rest and take good care of yourself!  We are anxious for your healthy return!!

Now onward to our challenge!  4th of July brings so many images into my mind.  Our great sponsor DRS Designs generously gave us some super images to work with.  All of them adorable and fun.  They will be giving our lucky winner a $10 gift certificate to use in their on line shop!  Very nice!
